Michael, Destiny and Sawyer welcomed their new addition, Jack, and I had the honor of photographing their first moments together.
This in-hospital newborn lifestyle session is one of my favorites. I also offer in-home sessions within the first week of birth in case mom needs a few days to recover.
These sessions aren’t the traditional newborn photos of your baby in a bucket, but I love them because they are intimate and capture baby and the interaction with family.
I love these sessions so much because these are moments you might forget if not captured. I faintly remember the days in the hospital with Ethan. I have pictures of him at one and two days old, and I cherish them forever because he changed so much in the first two weeks.
I mean, c’mon, look at that squishy face. I wouldn’t want to forget that!
