I spent a lot of time at my grandparent’s house. During the summer, my brother and I would get dropped off at my grandma’s house early in the morning and spend the day with my cousins, Alie and Davey, swimming, playing video games like Frogger, reenacting the Power Rangers, and eating ham sandwiches and Lipton sweet tea.
Those were some of my favorite childhood memories.
Seeing my niece, Raelynn, 6, my son, Ethan, 3, my nephew, Ramoncito, 2, and my newborn, Andrew with my parents, PoPo and Grandma, reminds me a lot of my childhood.
They all love to be at “PoPo’s house” to see their cousins and grandparents. They can be found eating lime green popsicles, wathcing Peppa Pig, and like in this San Antonio lifestyle film, playing outside on the trampoline and riding the wagon.
My parents absolutely love their grandkids, and I’m truly grateful that they such a big part of my sons’ lives.
I wanted to document this season of life because these kids do not stop growing! They grow so fast and time flies.
I hope they remember these days and remember how much their PoPo and Grandma love them.
