I photograph a lot of families and have found some of the best locations to fit 4…5…even 20 people.
But what do you do when you only have one? One graduate.
Let’s find the best places for graduation photos here in San Antonio, Texas.
San Antonio Graduation Photography Spots
Besides photographing grads at the obvious — their school — some grads either don’t want photos at their school or want photos at a second location. I mean, c’mon, who doesn’t want some beautiful Instagram photos for the next few months, right?
The Pearl Brewery
The Pearl is a beautiful spot for grad photos and is located in central San Antonio. With a mix of nature and industrial structures, including bridges, water features, and brick walls, grads will have a variety of backdrops.
And because the walkways and bridges are narrow, it makes for great nooks for one-person photos.
Espada Park
Espada Park is a great second location for Texas A&M University-San Antonio grads because it’s not a far drive, and it’s beautiful. Here you have the San Antonio river bank, a bridge, and a field (not pictured).
I also had to throw in a few photos of this grad at her school because they’re just so beautiful, and so you can see the mix of standard grad photos and nontraditional photos you could receive in your gallery.
Landa Library
Landa Library is another smaller location that I usually only recommend for graduates and maybe smaller families. But even though it’s a smaller location, there’s very unique spots all around the library with cute nooks here and there.
This graduate definitely gave me model vibes during her session, so she sells this location perfectly! Haha
Downtown San Antonio
If you’re down to walk a little, we can find some really cool spots around San Antonio’s downtown area. For this session, we literally just walked, explored, and stopped along the way when anything caught our eye.
Check out more locations on my website, and check out my new greenhouse, another great spot for graduation photos!
If you’re ready to book your grad session, click to see my fall availability calendar.
Graduation sessions are $400, and I require a 50% deposit to secure your date. This covers up to two hours, which gives you plenty of time to switch outfits if you’d like, and we can even hit up a second nearby location to your school if you’d like.
