Summer Sessions by the Water
Summer is just around the corner! I cannot even believe I’m saying that. But I’m also so excited for all things summer, including the beach!
What am I offering this summer? Lots of waterside location session options.
When booking a summer session, I recommend choosing a waterside location, where the kids can play, have fun, cool off, and even get wet and swim!
You can even take me on your summer trips or vacation.
You’re probably already going to the splash pad or pool/lake with your kids. Have me come along and capture some really fun moments of your family.
You can pair this with a family session and then have the kids change and have fun in the water, or just have me come along for part of your summer fun.
Pricing
Summer mini sessions are 45 minute sessions in the evening, so one hour before sunset. The cost is $400 for families and you’ll receive 60-80 digital images in an online gallery.
This pricing covers all of the locations below as well as The Valerie Marie Greenhouse.
Some locations may include a travel fee.
San Antonio Photography Summer Location Ideas
Canyon Lake
Canyon Lake is stunning at sunset. There are various parks surrounding the lake, but this spot (pictured) is free and open to the public.
We can try our best to photograph around people, and/or you can choose a weekday and there will probably be less people.
Note: $10 travel fee will be added.
Cibalo Nature Center
Cibalo Nature Center is a beautiful location. I especially love going in the fall.
But it can be great for summer water sessions as well.
There’s a beautiful river with huge trees that flows through the park that’s great for small children to play and swim in.
Note: $10 travel fee will be added.
Espada Park or Confluence Park
These parks are very close to each other and they’re located on the South Side of San Antonio. They are beautiful small areas with rocks along the San Antonio River. No travel fee.
Corpus Christi Beach + South Padre Island
I love to travel to the beach for sessions. Let me know what date you’re going to the beach, and I can try to travel there during your stay.
For beach sessions, I highly recommend sunrise sessions because on the gulf, the sun rises behind the water, and that makes for the best lighting. I promise it’s worth it!
