The MC Photography Blog

Welcome to my blog

san antonio family photography

Hi there, I'm Melody Rodriguez! I am a San Antonio native, wife, a boy mom and Christian. I started MC Photography as a hobby in 2012 and it has grown into a business that helps support my family.

As a lifestyle photographer, I love to capture beautiful, unfiltered, fun moments between you and your family. I love natural light photography and sun flares. Check out my blog that has lots of examples of my work, information about my photography packages, and tips on how to prepare for your upcoming session.

Micah is my son’s best friend, and Silas, well, let’s just say they usually lock him out of the room they’re playing in (face palm). Haha. Hopefully Silas and Andrew can play one day soon.

For those of us (nonessentials) at home, we may have a lot of time on our hands. Even if you’re working from home, you may find that you have more time without commuting and breaks. And if you’re working full time, first off, thank you, but also, what do you do on weekends? You probably […]

San Antonio Photography: Composition Even as a photographer, I take more photos of my family with my iPhone because it’s much more accessible than my big, heavy Canon Mark IV. I’m sure you are also reaching for your iPhone to capture those every day, special moments, too. That’s why I’ve been trying to provide moms […]

San Antonio Family Photography Tips Instagram has really evolved over the years, and it has become a great marketing tool for businesses and photographers. I love it because it has a lot of the editing tools a professional application such as Lightroom or Photoshop has, and it’s easy to use. There are lots of editing […]
